Here at PSLT, we love plants, and we love gardening. There is a quote that lives in our office that says “a book is like a garden carried in the pocket.” We love that saying because this idea of planting, watering, and growth is really what speech therapy is all about: taking basic interactive activities and planting the idea that a child can break out of their shell, watering that “seed” with regular speech therapy sessions, and then marveling at the growth in their social skills and ability to communicate. read more
