Although not a native to Georgia, Bianca’s therapy experience in the Atlanta area is exceptional. Her graduation from GA state university in communications disorders and 12 years of practicing locally serves as proof. Her motivating spirit and adaptability is contagious. Bianca finds that “getting to know her clients” is one her favorite facets of her job. Her hobbies include, knitting and reading.
Dr. Debra Dwight, Therapist
One of our most experienced and skillful therapist, is Dr. Debra Dwight. Known by others as an expert in her profession, Dr. Dwight holds multiple certifications in regards to speech, including a Masters in Communicative disorders and Early Childhood education. When asked about her favorite part of her job, Dr. Dwight says, “... I actually have no “favorite” part of my job. I find the job to be challenging in all aspects, so to that end, I have to be up for the challenge every day, every case, every situation. I enjoy meeting and working with people from all walks of life and I like the fact that this profession affords that opportunity….” Dr. Dwight’s favorite hobbies include Gardening and “Junking” (Checking out antique and junk shops for valuable and unique items!)
Energetic and engaging, Jey’s vibrant attitude is the back bone of PSLT. Her therapy sessions are described as “animated and personable”, making it a joy for clients to receive services. Regarding her certification, Jey graduated from Tennessee state university and completed dual classes at Vander Belt University, with a concentration in working with children with cochlear implants and auditory verbal training. With a heart of adventure, Jey’s favorite hobbies include, museum art visits, traveling, and dancing.
Graduating with a Bachelors of Arts degree in communicative Sciences and Disorders from the University of Alabama is our very bubbly therapist, Lauren. Her pleasant disposition serves as a great encouragement to new and current clients alike. When asked what she finds most rewarding about her job, Lauren states “Every client is an opportunity to make a real difference in the life of another.” Lauren’s hobbies include, traveling, writing and hanging out with her twin sister!
Roz’s love for organization and assistance makes her a very valuable member at PSLT. Her skillfulness in data intake and quick thinking helps parents become well informed on the needed steps to start therapy. “My favorite part of my job is the meaningful purpose of the work & interacting with great people. A fabulous staff and precious little folks!” states Roz. Her hobbies include, engaging in a community work to help families and taking walks!
